Overview:
Truly one of my favorite places in the world, Popponesset Marketplace in the heart of New Seabury is a 15 year old's heaven on earth (or 28 like me). I spent almost every 4th of July in Poppy growing up and the mini-golf was always a staple between all the boys. Nowadays, we spend our time at the Raw Bar slurping down the dangerous Rum Punches but "Poppy Putt" will always hold a dear place in our hearts and thus, had to make it's own review.
Value:
~$15 per person for 18 holes. This probably goes up every year even though nothing has changed on the course since 2008, but it's cheap fun.
Conditions:
Some of the carpets have seen better days, but the course itself is somewhat challenging even for esteemed mini golfers like myself.
Atmosphere:
It honestly doesn't get better. Friday night in the summer? Might as well be playing Quashnet with how long it will take you to loop around the course. But relax, you're on the Cape and you can follow up the round with a Rum Punch and a lobster roll. The nastalgia may be bumping this score up, but I stand by it.
