VIDEO REVIEW HERE
SCORE:
Keep in mind Cam and Tom grew up here, worked here, made close friends here and became best buds here. A tough one to rank, but an easy one for us to describe.
Value
Hard to put a price tag on a private membership. A Full Membership will run you ~$3500 a year. Not a wildly over the top price, and we are 100% saying you get all of your money with the membership, but that's not solely returned from the golf course or amenities.
There's no proper range, only a small, 3 hole practice shot area that everyone has agreed to allow lol...have you seen that at any other place?? So wild.
A practice green that does roll true with the rest of the course, and one sand area to practice with.
The 9 hole course is a hidden gem that you wouldn't even know is in Lowell, but it's a small piece of heaven in an otherwise go-go-go city of Lowell.
Condition
Always kept well with a new superintendent (Pat Simmons) on the job. A bunch of tree clearing in the last few years so it's kind of a bombs away scenario, but you can find yourself in some tricky spots. #1/#4/#5/#7/#8 have always been for the taking, but #2/#3/#6/#9 are always a hard hole to consistently grab for par.
Atmosphere
This is where you factor in the remainder of your money. A club that you will 100% find close friends, always find someone to have a game with, watch a Bruins game with, or to sit by the fire with, it's genuinely an extremely entertaining hang at all times, there's never a dull moment.
Let's not forget that you can play in the Cities, which is almost otherwise the price of admission. A golf tournament as old as your great grandmother, this is an electric factory to compete in, to caddy, or to watch and have a few drinks.
